These two adorable high school-sweethearts decided to run off and get married on a Caribbean island earlier this year. As happy as I was for them both…sadly, I couldn’t be stowed away in their luggage as they went. However, I was pumped to spend a couple hours together up in the beautiful hills of Knights Ferry, California which is a charming little place near where I live that I often love to frequently go to for shoots. These two couldn’t be any cuter and I wish them all the best for many MORE years to come. Cheers to you, Katie + Caden.
It is home to the Knights Ferry Bridge, the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi at 330 feet (100 m) in length. K-8 Elementary School, and a museum about the history of the town and also about local wildlife. The town’s ruins include a mill and a jail.
