These two and their wedding day up at Hilltop Hacienda + Kennolyn Camp in the Santa Cruz mountains was an absolute dreaaaaam.
Although it rained on their day, they made the absolute best of it and it was one for the record books in the best of ways. Dan + Melissa are as sweet as they come and I was ridiculously obsessed with both their wedding day personal style AND THEIR HAIR! (Insert me swooning over both here)
Santa Cruz is one of my favorite places and this day was one of my favorite weddings. She wore a gorgeous Rue De Seine wedding dress with flowers in her fish-tail braided hair and only strands of beads on her feet. He wore the coolest maroon suit with his hair pulled back and no socks with his shoes and I was living for it alllll. Seriously…wedding day unicorns. Lol.
She had the sweetest first look with her Dad and then during the ceremony he made THE BEST FATHER OF THE BRIDE SPEECH EVVVVVVVER. He spoke the sweetest words about his beloved daughter and then incorporated one of her favorite movies LOVE ACTUALLY into the speech by saying his feelings via Sharpied words written on big, white cards just like in the famous scene. There wasn’t a dry eye in the building and even I had to lock it up or else I would have been an absolute blubbering mess. (Cue Kim K. and her ugly crying here).
They had the wildest dance floor which included Daniel crowd surfing and champagne bottles being sprayed while they were lifted on chairs. It was truly such a fun day filled with lots of happy tears, rockstar-esque champagne sprays and the best movies references ever.
