These last few months I have been seeing beautiful elopement + engagement sessions out at the gorgeous Point Reyes Seashore and it is a spot that has been on my radar and I have been chomping at the bit to visit. So when Chris + Joanna reached out to me for their uber cool SF wedding this Fall, I immediately knew I wanted to possibly shoot their engagements there, if they were game. Luckily they were, so off we went. As soon as I arrived to the outskirts of Point Reyes, I knew I was in for a treat. The sprawling hills, the endless dunes of ice plant and pristine coastline were just as I had hoped. The wind was whipping through that day, but Chris + Joanna were total troopers and I think the movement of their hair only added to their images. (Truth be told, one of my current photography obsessions, as well as many other photogs, is windy hair. My other two favs: Hands and Hugs….in no particular order.) Long story short, the beautiful Point Reyes beaches did not disappoint and I cannot wait to go back. Here’s to hoping I get to shoot there again soon and Chris + Joanna’s upcoming wedding gets here fast! I’m ready!!
